Hello!

I want to start a permaculture farm and need a course with an early bird price ending 17th of Dec! I have already a PDC and have worked as a permaculture designer for two years, putting my life as a biology scientist behind me.

Next year, I want to continue with a CSA, a community shared agriculture on the west-coast of Sweden, which will produce local vegetables for nearby residents. The farmer living next to me will put an end to his farming next summer as he is too old and there is no one to continue his work. Traditional farming selling products to large supermarkets give to little profits to farmers but selling directly to costumers work! There is a high demand of this kind of products in the area where I'm living bith from individuals but also from restaurants.

I love to help people make permaculture in their gardens, but what I love even more is sustainable food production on a larger scale, the core to sustainability. I want to produce food grown in a holistic, sustainable way with multiple products. So far I have only produced vegetables, eggs and chicken for myself and family but now I am aiming for more large scale. To make this path smoother and learn from experts, I would like to take a course at Ridgedale permaculture farm, which is situated only three hours from my place!

First step in the CSA will be vegetables and if there is a possibility, I will continue with chickens, eggs, outdoor pigs and cows for areas of the land which has mostly clay. And in the long run I dream of fruit trees and berries. This is something I would need to learn from the course, which steps to prioritize.

I already quit my job as a Phd student two years ago to continue a life with permaculture, funding for the course is needed for me to able to take the course. Would like to see more permaculture farmers? Please help me fund this education!
